Verify a speaker

AI can fake everything except a verified record. Check the record before you book.

What verification means

SP Verified confirms that a speaker and their speaking record are real, checked against the people and organizations who were there. It is authentication, never a grade: a record is verified or it is not, and no payment can change the answer.

There are no scores or rankings to check. A speaker's strength shows in the record itself: how many engagements are verified, the years they span, and who confirmed them. Read the record and grade it your way.

Help me read these records

Every record here can look like a wall of proof, and every packet a speaker sends you is polished by design. This guide explains what the facts on a verified record mean, and just as plainly what they do not mean, so you can read any record the same way.

What a verified record proves

  • Every engagement on a record was confirmed before it was added: by the organizer or bureau behind it, or by documentary evidence such as a signed contract paired with a final invoice.
  • Each engagement names who confirmed it, so you can see whose name stands behind the record.
  • Repeat bookings are visible: when an organization hired the speaker again, the record shows it.
  • Paid engagements are confirmed as paid, and the record says so plainly.
  • The dates are real, so you can see the span of a career, and whether the record is still growing.

What a record does not prove

It does not prove a speaker is right for your event. Fit depends on your audience, your theme, and your room, and no record can judge that for you. It says nothing about fee or availability either. And keep the layers straight: testimonials, photos, and videos are listed material the speaker provided. The verified engagements are the part SP Verified checked.

How readers usually weigh a record

  • Recency: is the record still growing, or did it stop years ago?
  • Repeat bookings: did anyone who saw the work hire the speaker again?
  • Independent voices: how many different confirmers stand behind the record, and who are they?

Decide which of those matters most for your event first. Records will then answer you plainly, and any two can be compared fact by fact, the same way.

Our promise, and its limit

SP Verified does not recommend speakers. Not this one, not any one, ever. We do not rank speakers, score them, or steer you toward anyone, and no speaker can pay to change a single fact on a record or a single line of this guide. Our job is only to make sure the facts under your decision are real, and then to get out of the way. Choosing the speaker who fits your event is your call, and it should be: you know your event, and we do not.
