For bureau partners
Roster verification, in batches
Planners increasingly ask a bureau to stand behind its roster’s claims. Roster verification runs your speakers’ engagements through the SP Verified confirmation system in small batches, so the roster you present is the roster that has been checked.
How a batch works
- You send names, in a batch that suits you. Five speakers at a time is the rhythm that works: small enough that confirmations come back fast, large enough to clear a roster in a few rounds. Each speaker’s listed engagements come with the batch.
- Confirmation asks go out. Each event is confirmed the SP Verified way: a light, one-click ask to the client, bureau, or document trail that can prove it. No forms for the confirmer to fill in, no account to create: one click is the whole job.
- Confirmed events land on each speaker’s record. The public record shows how every event was confirmed, so a planner who checks sees the same facts you do.
- You get the batch result. A plain summary per batch: which speakers are confirmed, which confirmations are still pending, and which events could not be confirmed, so you can follow up once, with the speaker, instead of vouching blind.
What you will see
Verification is only half the story. Each verified speaker also gets a Wiki Listing: the neutral, planner-facing page built from their record, bio, sessions, fees, and engagements, with the confirmation trail for every claim set out at the bottom. The wiki format is the point: it reads as fact, not as marketing, so a planner can pass it up the chain and you can forward it without it looking like an ad. It is the exact page your planners will open when a name comes up, which means you see your roster the way the buyer sees it.
What it is not
Verification is authentication, never grading. A confirmed roster does not rank your speakers, score them, or sort them into tiers; it states which engagements were confirmed, and by what kind of evidence. An event that cannot be confirmed is labeled “listed”, not hidden and not inflated.
Timing and cost
Batches move as fast as confirmers click; most one-click asks resolve within days, and a batch summary follows each round. Roster verification costs partner bureaus nothing, like every other part of the partnership.
