Speaking Fee Structure For Bureaus & Agencies

Keynote Speaking Fee Structure:

  • Quoted Corporate: $15,000 Gross To Client
    • Current Fee Range: $10,000 – $20,000
  • Quoted Education: $10,000 Gross To Client
    • Admin, Teachers, Students
    • Current Fee Range: $6,000 – $15,000  

Travel Buyout:

  • $1,500 Domestic Travel Fee 
    • Events outside of Colorado
  • $5,000 International Travel Fee 
    • Events outside of the continental U.S.

    Pricing Fluidity For Agents and Representatives:

    Kenyon gives his bureau & agency partners full-autonomy in negotiating pricing with their clients.

    Kenyon is most often booked at around the $15,000 price point. 

    Some of his events exceed $20,000 and he will also consider, depending on availability and time of year, events in the $10,000 range, should an event be facing budget constraints.

    Student and educator groups often lack the funding that large corporations have access to for their events, even though these audiences tend to benefit from Kenyon’s presentation tremendously. 

    It is for this reason that Kenyon has lowered his fee to make his speaking services more accessible to these types of events. His speaking fee for these audiences start at $6,000 and go as high as $15,000+.

    Bureau & Agency Fees:

      • 25% of the gross fee to the bureau or agency
      • The net amount is then remitted to Kenyon Salo LLC

    Kenyon holds his integrity at a very high level. Referrals benefit all involved and Kenyon loves to pass those forward when they come via a previous bureau or agency event. To do this Kenyon does the following:

    1. Inbound Calls/Emails: 

    All calls and emails, to Kenyon Salo directly, are first vetted to find out where the potential client/lead found out about Kenyon Salo and his keynote. 

    During the discovery phase, should the potential client have originated from a previously booked event by a bureau or agency, Kenyon will then pass that lead along immediately. There will have been no discussion of pricing prior to the lead being passed on.

    2. Immediate Event Referrals:

    When Kenyon is at an event he is often handed business cards after stepping off stage. If this is an event, that is in partnership with a bureau or agency, all contact information will be immediately sent to the booking agent and the contact/lead will be informed that Kenyon’s booking agent will be reaching out.
